ACP Rules


Assigned Seats: Students will have assigned seats. Students will have computers to use in the ACP Computer Lab; therefore netbooks should be turned off during classes.

Music: Students may earn the privilege of listening to music with their own IPods' or MP3 players on Fridays, while still working in ACP. Students must show teachers weekly progress to earn this benefit.

  • Music is not to be listened to on school computers (Pandora or CDs on hard drive, etc).
  • Headphones cannot be shared with other students.
  • Volume is to be low and cannot be heard by others in classroom.

Notes: Students should take notes on tutorials and lessons in spiral notebook.

Test Results: Students should print the test results and place in their personal file folders.

Off Task:
  • Surfing web
  • Online games
  • Research or typing assignments for other classes is not permitted

Talking to Others in Class:

Please remember that students need to have an effective learning environment so that credits can be recovered. Students need to be working on their subjects, so talking to other students should be kept to a minimum.

Consequences:

  1. Verbal Warning
  2. 15 minute detention before or after school or during lunch period
  3. 30 minute detention before or after school or during lunch period and call parents
  4. ECO and call parents
  5. Saturday ECO and call parents
  6. Removed from ACP
