This year we are working on:

Prairie View Yearbook Dedication Page Contest

2012 – 2013

5^thGrade

Write a poem or short essay that:

tells why PVE is the best school around

tells what you liked about being at PVE

tells why learning is important
tells how PVE helps you succeed

describes what a good student is like

All entries must be:

8 ½ X 11 in. white paper

neatly typed or hand written

have a 2 in. decorated border that illustrates the text

To enter the contest, turn in your dedication page design to Mr. Brown no later than:
March 1, 2013

Expressyourself! Describe your world! Dream of the future!
Submit your best poem tothe Prairie View Poetry Contest.

Prizes for each grade level are:

· 1^st Place boy & girl:Trophy & Writing Journal

· 2^nd Place boy & girl: Certificate & Writing Journal
