The goal of the Instructional Technology Department is to assist teachers and administrators with integrating technology into the classroom efficiently and effectively. Technology projects tied to the curriculum provide engaging ways to create, practice, and investigate. In teaching our students concepts, we must also include process within an engaging context, which includes the use of technology tools. Technology supports research-proven instructional strategies in ways that engage students and teachers. The goal of Northwest ISD is to provide a premier education for all students by teaching them how to be creative and adaptable life-long learners. Our technology tools play an integral role in making this happen.
