Damon Edwards, Ed. D. Executive Director

Dr. Edwards has served in many areas of Northwest ISD since 1996. Some NISD students know him as Coach Edwards, others as Mr. Edwards and even Dad since his children attend schools in the district. He as has served as Assistant Principal in elementary, middle school and high school, and Principal at Gene Pike Middle School between 2003 and 2007 before serving in his current position as Executive Director for Secondary Education. Named Administrator of the Year from Texas Computer Education Association 2010. Dr. Edwards' most recent achievement is successfully completing all requirements for his Doctorate in May of 2013.

Primary Responsibility: Supervise and monitor programs of basic instruction in grades 6 - 12, oversee Technology, Instructional Technology and Career & Technology programs and provide leadership in the development and growth of secondary campus administrators.

Jonice Macky Administrative Assistant

From substitute to a Computer Lab Assistant in elementary, to the Office Manager at Medlin Middle School to her current position as Administrative Assistant, Mrs. Macky has served Northwest ISD since 1993. Both of her children are Northwest ISD graduates.
