Congratulations are in order for the CTMS Orchestra Program!
In early May the CTMS Orchestra students competed in various Orchestra competitions. Ratings were very good for all students who participated including:
Chamber Orchestra--Peak Music Festival EXCELLENT Performance
Concert and Symphony Orchestras—NRH2O Music Festival SUPERIOR Performance
Beginner Orchestra—NRH2O Music Festival SUPERIOR Performance

On Saturday April 13 CTMS Orchestra students competed in the NISD Solo and Ensemble competition. Ratings were very good for all students who participated including:
8 students received a 1st Division (Superior) rating and 2 students received a 2nd Division (Excellent) rating on Solo performances. 4 Ensembles received a 1st Division (Superior) rating and 3 ensembles received a 2nd Division (Excellent) rating.
Total Medal Count: 16 Superior and 9 Excellent.
Way to go Bulldog Orchestra!!

Incoming 6th graders Instrument Sizing Nights:
If your student was unable to attend an Instrument Sizing night please contact Mr. Smith to set up a time to have your student sized for their instrument. Students must be sized by the end of the school year for proper class placement and to ensure that they will have their instrument at the beginning of school (to ensure their success for next school year)!
