Three NISD Principals to Attend Summer Institute at Harvard

Carl E. Schluter Elementary School Principal Kim Caley, our own Haslet Elementary School Principal Michael Griffin, Ed.D. and Seven Hills Elementary School Principal Stephanie Espinosa have been selected to participate in a cohort of top public school campus leaders this summer. Raise Your Hand Texas has selected 50 Texas principals for this year’s program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Haslet Elementary is proud to serve the students and community in and around Haslet, Texas! As a K-5 school serving approximately 500 students, Haslet Elementary is rated Exemplary by the Texas Education Agency. Anchored by a strong partnership with parents, Haslet Elementary is well-known for its community involvement and sense of pride.

A commitment to ensure that every student succeeds in every classroom every day is evident throughout the school as students and teachers work collaboratively to challenge one another through meaningful learning experiences.

Haslet Elementary was recently named as a runner-up for the Shirly Hord Learning Team Award by the National Staff Development Council and regularly receives visitors who are interested in learning about innovative ways to engage students and teachers in the learning process.

As our motto states,

Haslet Elementary is “Leading the Way” in student achievement, community support, professional development, and a commitment to excellence!
