Why I became a teacher?

When I was young, I always remember playing “school” with my friends, my brothers and my neighbors.  As I got older, I loved babysitting and teaching kids how to make crafts, play games and read books.  Once I entered into high school, I knew that teaching was the career for me!  I took every class that involved understanding more about children and even had a chance to work in a “real” classroom of 2nd graders for a whole semester when I was a senior in high school.  While going to college, I worked with school-age children in a daycare to get more experience with working with children. I even chose a college that specialized in teaching.   I love working with my students and hope I can inspire them to “go get” their goals and dreams just like I did!
