Here are links to sites the district has subscribed to that are great for research and information that might help you with school projects and reports. See Mrs. Smith or your classroom teacher for user names and passwords for these resources.

NetTrekker is a online searching tool that connects students to online resources which are teacher approved.  It allows the user to narrow searching topics to only certain types of resources and/or reading levels, and has features which allow text to be read aloud to students or translated into other languages. It is a wonderful search tool.


World and I

World and I is a resource which connects students to the world around them.  It is a great site for research concerning different cultures with amazing pictures and articles.  It is also a wonderful history resource.


Gale Virtual Reference Library

This is a great way to research for projects or just to learn something new. There are many wonderful resources in this database!
