Our Mission Statement was very thought out. We did not focus on fancy words, but we really wanted it to reflect what we wanted for our students at Lakeview Elementary. We wrote a mission that every teacher could believe in.
The decisions we make daily are based on our Mission, Beliefs and Principles of Teaching, Learning and Curriculum. It is important that the teachers understand the Mission, Beliefs, and Principles and how we all play a role in making them successful.
Every student at Lakeview Elementary will be future ready. All students will
leave their grade at or above grade level, no matter where they start.
· Teachers, students, families, and community will work in partnership
to create a school all children want to attend.
Lakeview Elementary will help students and parents set goals based on clear
expectations, teach the curriculum, assess and monitor students' progress, help
students provide feedback and appropriate safety nets in preparation
for a rigorous middle school curriculum.
Kids come first
All students belong to everyone
Safe, trusting, and nurturing environment for all
Actions are determined by student performance
