This is a special notification from Northwest ISD. On Friday, we informed you about an engineering issue on Dell tablet chargers issued to middle school students. Dell has contacted Northwest ISD today about an additional component that should be replaced regarding your child's Tablet device. There is an additional component that connects the Tablet charger to the electrical outlet called a duckhead. Because this component cannot be properly identified by model number AOO, NISD will replace all duckheads with power cables. We are asking all middle school students to discontinue use of their charging devices for their Tablets until their duckheads are replaced by power cables. This applies to all middle school students including those who received a new replacement charging device yesterday and today. Teachers will work with students who need to use a tablet device for classroom assignments or homework. The power cables will be distributed at your child's campus beginning this Thursday, May 28.

We would like to congratulate our awesome Academic UIL Participants! Medlin took 3rd place in the 6th grade competition, and was 1st place in the 7/8th grade competition, which was good enough for a 3rd Place overall finish.
