Parents will be notified in advance of extra morning and after school rehearsals.
Students will only be allowed 2 unexcused absences from choir.  More than two unexcused absences or excessive absences of any type that would keep students from learning their music and being prepared for performances will result in the child being removed from choir.
Illness and family emergencies will be considered excused absences.  Please send an email/note with the reason for your child's absence within 24 hours. Absences without a note will not be excused.
Other absences may be submitted for  approval as excused by sending Mrs. Nassiff a note/email stating the reason for the absence. She will let you know if the absence is excused.
Choir students must have good citizenship in all classrooms, as well as all choir rehearsals and activities.  Student's who have received two  notes/emails about inappropriate behavior during choir rehearsals and activities may be asked to no longer participate in choir when a 3rd note/email is sent to parents.
Choir students must maintain passing grades of 70+ in all classes and complete and turn in all class work to participate in choir.
