New
Students
Beginning April 18, Enrollment Online will be available for students new to the district,
including children who will attend kindergarten this August. Incoming kindergarten students must be five
by September 1, 2013 and complete registration online. Kindergarten Round-Up is scheduled for April 29-May 3. Even though kindergarten registration begins online, parents and students are encouraged to attend the Round-Up event at their child’s school to meet staff, tour the facility and provide the necessary documents needed to complete the registration process. Granger Elementary will hold its Kindergarten Round-up on April 30th from 4:30 to 6:00pm. Parents should bring the following items to complete their child’s enrollment:
Birth certificate
Immunization records
(immunizations must be up-to-date to attend school)
Proof of residency (housing
contract, rental agreement, etc.)
Student’s social security card
License or government-issued
photo ID of the parent/guardian
Computers will be available at the campus during Kindergarten Round-Up for parent’s unable to register online from home.
Returning
Students
Returning student verification will begin August 1. This will replace the back-to-school packets issued on the first day of
school. In order to access the online verification feature, parents of students currently enrolled in the district must have a Home Access Center (HAC) account.
There are a number of benefits to having a HAC account. Parents can access the following information anytime:
grades, schedule, progress reports, attendance, report cards, classwork, and standardized test scores. Parents may also choose to receive email updates for grades, attendance, progress reports, and/or report cards. HAC emails are sent to the email address provided during registration. Access to the HAC requires an internet connection and a confidential username and password issued to the parent by the school. If you are unsure of your HAC login, you may contact your child’s campus.
