Thompson and Schluter Elementary School BoundariesListed below are the NISD Board approved attendance boundaries for Thompson Elementary and Schluter Elementary as of August 2011. Thompson Elementary School J.C. Thompson Elementary School serves students in the eastern portion of the Sendera Ranch community. The attendance boundary follows Sendera Ranch Boulevard, which runs through the neighborhood. Elementary students who live on the north and east side of Sendera Ranch Boulevard will attend Thompson Elementary School, except students living on Fallingwater Trail, Dancing Horse Trail, Enchanted Sky Lane, Suncatcher Way, and Storyteller Lane. Students living on these streets will attend Sendera Ranch Elementary School. Schluter Elementary School Carl E. Schluter Elementary School opened in the Parks at Willow Ridge community, relieving the growing student population at Sonny and Allegra Nance and O.A. Peterson elementary schools. The attendance boundary for Schluter Elementary includes students who live in the following neighborhoods and have attended Nance Elementary: Dorado Ranch, Emerald Park, Idlewood, Prairie Ridge Estates, Sun Valley Estates, and Vista Ranch. Students who live in the Parks at Willow Ridge and Willow Ridge Estates, who have attended Peterson Elementary School, also attend the Schluter Elementary. The following communities are still in the Nance Elementary attendance zone: Fossil Creek Estates, Trails of Fossil Creek, The Reserve at Van Zandt, Van Zandt Farms, and Watersbend. Schluter Elementary School is located at 1220 Mesa Crest Drive in far north Fort Worth, which has a Haslet mailing address. Both Schluter and Nance elementary schools feed into Chisholm Trail Middle School. Northwest ISD has already purchased property near Schluter Elementary where district officials plan to build a new middle school that will open in August 2016. |
