Blended Virtual Credit Recovery with End Of Course (EOC) Prep (FREE) (June 17-July 31)

 

Instruction is provided through a web-based curriculum supported daily by a core content area teacher for the summer session.  As secure assessments/assignments arise, students will need to consult with the support teacher to schedule a face-to-face exam proctoring/assignment completion.  All classwork is provided on-site at BNHS.  Summer reporting dates are June 17-July 3 and July 15-31 with a student/staff holiday July 4-5. Daily attendance at BNHS during the summer session dates is required until course completion.  Retesting offered July 8-12 (see page 16 for detailed dates per subject area.

 

Scenarios for Blended Virtual Course Option:

·        STAAR EOC Test Prep and Credit Recovery (FREE) – Student who failed the subject area course and needs to recover the credit AND did not score Level II Satisfactory on the End of Course STAAR test for the subject area enrolled.

 

Credit Recovery Only ($220 per semester credit)

·        Credit Recovery Only ($220/semester) – Student who:

·        failed the subject area course and needs to recover the credit but scored Level II Satisfactory or above on the End of Course STAAR test for the subject area enrolled,   OR

·        failed the subject area course and needs to recover the credit and is under TAKS requirements for graduation.
