The purpose of the extended summer program for grades 9-12 (including incoming 2013-14 Grade 9 students) is to provide current and incoming high school students with the opportunity to master the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills of incomplete/failed courses and/or to accelerate their high school programs. Various courses will be offered for original credit/acceleration, credit recovery, and/or Test Preparation. The summer courses will be offered in the following formats:
Tuition
The tuition may be paid online by credit card (Visa or Mastercard). For Online Payment and registration, please access http://nisdtx.revtrak.net. Click on Registration. Product information per course is listed under the summer campus name.
For other options of registration and payment such as exact cash, personal check, money order or cashier’s check, a manual registration option with your campus is available. Please contact your campus Summer School Registration Coordinator.
For personal checks, the name and address must be printed by the bank and the following must be included on the check information area: (1) phone number, (2) date of birth, and (3) driver’s license number and expiration date. On the memo line, we must have your child's name and course for which he/she is registering. Please make checks payable to Northwest ISD.
Tuition will vary by format and credit type. Additional fees per program may be associated with out-of-district attendance in NISD Summer Programs. The course may be cancelled if there is insufficient enrollment
Tuition-based students who are eligible for the Free and Reduced lunch program can apply for a scholarship (if available) through a sponsoring entity. Tuition discounts for students eligible for Free or Reduced Lunch may be considered if scholarships are not granted, but there is a SPECIAL CODE REQUIRED. For scholarship or discount funded students, please contact your campus Summer School Registration Coordinator for tuition adjustments of the associated fees per course and the SPECIAL CODE prior to registration.
