I graduated from Abilene Christian University in 2008 with a BS degree in Integrated Mass Communications/Journalism.

I am certfied in EC-4 Generalist, 4-8 Generalist, and ESL.

I taught Kindergarten from 2009-2010 at Advantage Academy Grand Prairie and 6th Grade Language Arts from 2011-2012 here at Pike Middle School. I am very excited about getting back to my journalism roots by teaching Media/Journalism/Yearbook for the 2012-2013 school year.
