How Much is a Million???
 
Well....we all know that a million (1,000,000) is A LOT.  Each year Seven Hills
challenges all students to read 1 million words!!! The goal for each first grade student is to read 100 different book titles to equal about one million words. The 100 books come from books read at school and at home. When your child reads a book at home, please record it on their home reading log. Each student will also keep a reading log at school of the books they read during Readers Workshop.  The teacher will help the students to keep track of the number of books they have read toward the goal. I am hoping that everyone in my class meets their goal!
