  • UIL Try Outs Coming Soon!

    Try outs for 2014-2015 Beck Elementary UIL teams are coming soon! University Interscholasitc League is an extra curricular academic program for 2nd-5th graders that allows high achieving students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in a competitive setting. Try outs for 2nd grade students will take place on Monday, November 3rd from 2:45-4:00. Try outs for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students will take place on Tuesday, November 4th from 2:45-4:00. To attend try outs, students must have a signed permission form. Descriptions of each team and permission forms were sent home on Friday, October 24th. To locate additional forms, please visit the "Extra Curricular" tab of the Beck website and click "UIL." We look forward to seeing your students at try outs!

  • Fill the Bus! NISD Food Drive - 10/27-11/18

    Help Beck Win the "Fill the Bus" Competition! Donate a canned, non-perishable food item(s). On November 19th, a school bus will stop by each campus to load up the food items collected. Each bus will be weighed and the heaviest bus will win. All food collected will support the Justin and Roanoke Food Pantries.

  • Beck Salutes Our American Heroes

    Samuel Beck Elementary will honor area Veterans on Tuesday, November 11th in the school gymnasium. The program will include a presentation of patriotic songs by the Beck Bulldog Choir. Veterans, active military personnel, families and community members are invited to attend and honor our Veterans. Beck families are invited to send pictures of family members and friends for a slide show that will be presented during the event. Please send pictures to Mr. Garza by Friday, November 7th at rgarza@nisdtx.org. Veterans Day Performance times are 8:30 - 9:15 am for Kindergarten - 2nd Grade and 9:30 - 10:15 am for 3rd - 5th Grade.
