PBMAS

NISD will increase academic success of students within Performance Based Monitoring Analysis System (PBMAS) subgroups – Bilingual/English as a Second Language, Career and Technology, No Child Left Behind (Title 1), and Special Education.

Under 19 TAC §97.1005(b), the Texas Education Agency (TEA) monitors the Performance Based Monitoring Analysis System (PBMAS) as one part of the state accountability system. It is designed to assess student subgroup performance and program effectiveness in serving student subgroups.
