 Scholarships and Acceptance Letters

NHS wants to have our highest scholarship total EVER.  We know many families just haven't gotten around to sending that information in. You have several methods to turn these in:

email- award@nisdtx.org

twitter- @rockstarmom33

bring them by the office.  We want ALL scholarship offers, even if they are not going to be accepted.

As far as acceptance letter go, please only submit the letter from the college/program which the student is attending.

The Green Cord

Community service hours are a part of a competitive resume for a student seeking scholarships and acceptance letters.  Hopefully, the total number of hours completed in all 4 years of high school is nearing the 100 mark.  PLEASE see Mrs. Gathright in the 0 hall or email jgathright@nisdtx.org  to track those hours and qualify for the prestigious green cord at graduation.  All hours must be submitted by April 23rd.  You can 6-8 from just the Big Event next weekend.

G- Force

The G-Force is available to talk to, advise, support and guide ANY student in the college going process. These specially trained college students answer application and scholarship questions, help with college searches, assist in the filing of a FAFSA, and support registration for the SAT/ACT. Sign up here for this free service.

Their last visit for this Spring is May 1st.
