Dear Longhorns and friends of Longhorns,
Welcome to Sendera Ranch Elementary, home of THE LONGHORNS!
The teachers and staff have been planning for another exciting year at "THE RANCH." We are excited about the continued growth of our community. A special welcome to Truett Wilson Middle School which is now located in the neighborhood. I see great things in their future. Our former students will continue to excel under the leadership of the principal, Mike Blankenship. I am so proud of our parents who are already an active part of the middle school family.
We want to encourage our families to be a part of the educational experience by partnering with our teachers and helping us become better every day. We have an outstanding PTA which has many activities planned this year for our children and their families. Please be a part of this vibrant organization filled with parents who commit time and energy to helping our teachers in the classroom, or volunteering for other activities, that all help make our school better. This partnership between our families and our school helps provide our children with a stellar example of community service.
Our theme for the year, "It's a Longhorn Thing! Live It, Love It and Learn It", is centered around the characteristics of successful students as learners today with a vision towards their future and the future of the world.
