NISD Back to School Fair
Saturday, August 9
Northwest ISD and Communities In Schools of North Texas are working together to organize the second annual Northwest Back to School Fair.  It will be held on Saturday, August 9 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Northwest High School.  We are changing a few things up to better serve families in need within our community.  Families with children in Northwest ISD (PreK-12) can register online or by filling out a form provided by your child's school counselor and returning it to your child's school counselor.  Families may qualify for the program based on their financial need as verified by their registration for free or reduced lunch or otherwise expressed to the school counselor.  To register for free or reduced lunch, please see the campus counselor for an application or access the Meal Sense webpage under Food and Menu Services under the Parents tab @  School supplies will be distributed to families in need at the Back to School Fair where they can also receive free services, community health information, and get to know local service providers.  To register for the Back to School Fair, click on the provided link:  The application will remain open through the last day of school (June 6).
This is a fundraising based event, so the more funds raised, the more students can be served.  So, if you would like to assist in supporting our NISD community or know of sponsors who may want to assist with this event, the Back to School Fair (BTS) Brochure is attached for you to share with them explaining the event and how their donations can assist our Northwest ISD students in need.
In addition, if you are able to volunteer to assist with the BTS Fair on August 9th, please contact Ann Pape (972-350-4726 / or Phil Beckman (817-215-0172 / directly.
