Northwest ISD General Information for Summer School


The Northwest ISD offers a variety of programs for enrichment in addition to acceleration classes for language arts and mathematics.

Tuition and Registration: 
 
 
Tuition will vary by program. The tuition may be paid online by credit card (Visa or Mastercard). For Online Registration and Payment, please access
http://nisdtx.revtrak.net/. Product information per course is listed under the campus name.
 
For other options of registration and payment such as exact cash, personal check, money order or cashiers check, a manual registration is available at your home campus. Financial assistance may be provided for eligible students. Please contact your campus Summer School Registration Coordinator with questions regarding this process or contact Student Services at 817-215-0013.
 
For Personal Checks, your name and address must be printed (by the bank). Also, please include your phone number, date of birth, and drivers license number with expiration date on the check information area. On the memo line, please reference your child's name and course for which the student is registering. Please make checks payable to Northwest ISD.
 
Additional fees per program may be associated with out-of-district students attending NISD Summer Programs. Reference the registration fee per program in this informational document.
 
Registration deadlines vary between programs. Please refer to the program description for registration deadlines.


Transportation Elementary and Middle School:
(No Transportation is available at the High School Level)

Transportation is provided for some specified elementary and middle school programs from the student's home campus (within NISD). Please refer to the program description for transportation information for each program. For programs with transportation provisions, bus schedules will be sent home with the students the last week of the school year. For those programs providing bus service, the process is as follows:

Transportation is not available for Elementary Enrichment Clubs. It is the responsibility of the parent to provide transportation for these programs.

Transportation is provided (from the home campus parking lot) for the Language Academy and the SSI STAAR 5th and 8th Test Preparation Academies.

Transportation is provided (from the home campus parking lot) for the Middle School MAP program.

For programs with transportation provisions (SSI and MAP only), bus schedules will be sent home with the students the last week of the school year with the process as follows:

Transportation Options TO Summer School include:
• Bus pick-up in the morning from the student’s Home Campus parking lot (Parents must have the student present at the home campus parking lot at the specified pick up time)
• Car rider drop-off by parent at the specific Summer Campus

Transportation Options FROM Summer School include:
• Bus drop-off in the afternoon at the student’s Home Campus parking lot (Parents must be present at the home campus parking lot at specified drop-off time; if not, students will be returned to the Summer Campus for pick-up)
• Car rider pick-up by parent at the Summer Campus

Transportation is not available for High School level courses. It is the responsibility of the parent to provide transportation for these programs.
