NISD Issues Netbooks to Secondary Students

In Northwest ISD, all secondary students are issued a netbook equipped with wireless networking and software, including the district's filtering system which restricts questionable websites regardless of the student's location. The student netbook initiative is a key ingredient in the district's vision where every student will graduate future ready: ready for college, ready for the global workplace and ready for personal success. This is the fourth consecutive year netbook computers have been distributed in Northwest ISD.
