NISD High Schools Kick Off Partnership with Texas Motor Speedway

Northwest High School, Byron Nelson High School and James M. Steele Accelerated High School kicked off their 2012-2013 partnership with Texas Motor Speedway on Tuesday. High school students were given the opportunity to ask NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer questions and compete in a series of relay races in order to win tickets to the NSCS AAA Texas 500 race at Texas Motor Speedway on November 4. In remembrance of 9/11, approximately 40 local emergency response teams and police and fire departments were recognized for their dedication and service.
