Peterson Elementary School Named a State School of Character

The Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) has selected O.A. Peterson Elementary School as a 2013 Texas School of Character. This honor recognizes elementary and middle schools demonstrating outstanding character education, reflecting positive results in classroom behavior and high achieving academics. Peterson Elementary School will be recognized at an awards ceremony at the TEPSA District 11 meeting on February 27. The campus is now eligible for consideration in the National Schools of Character program. The Character Education Partnership (CEP) will select the finalists in February.
