Chess Club: Students who place 1st in a regional tournament will be recognized.
College Board National Recognition Program Scholars: Students who earn one of these honors will be recognized. This program includes National Scholars in the following categories: African-American, Hispanic, Indigenous, and Rural/Small Town.
Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA): Students who qualify for nationals and above will be recognized.
Destination Imagination (DI): Students who qualify for nationals and above will be recognized.
Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA): Students who qualify for nationals and above will be recognized.
Fort Worth Star-Telegram Spelling Bee and Spanish Spelling Bee: students who win 1st place at regionals will be recognized.
Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA): Students who qualify for nationals and above will be recognized.
Future Farmers of America (FFA): Students who win grand prizes in the livestock/projects categories at any major Texas Stock Show will be recognized.
Future Farmers of America (FFA) Leadership Contest: Students who qualify for state and above will be recognized.
Green Cord: Students who achieve 100 hours of community service all 4 years of high school will be recognized.
Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA): Students who qualify for state and above will be recognized.
High School Book Battle: Teams who place first will be recognized.
Junior Achievement: Students who qualify for nationals will be recognized.
Microsoft Office Specialist and Adobe Certified Professional Competition: Students who qualify for nationals and above will be recognized.
Microsoft Specialist Expert: Students who earn this certification will be recognized.
National Merit Commended Scholars: Students who achieve this honor will be recognized.
National Merit Semifinalist or Finalist: Students who achieve this honor will be recognized.

Valedictorians & Salutatorians: Students who earn this honor will be recognized.
Virtual Enterprises International (VEI): Students who qualify for nationals will be recognized.
Academic All-State: Students who qualify for this award will be recognized.
Clay Target: Students who win the state competition or students who are recognized for top overall performance at a state competition, Iron Man or HOA, will be recognized.
Middle School Sports: Individual students who place 1st at district or Meet of Champions will be recognized.
University Interscholastic League (UIL) High School Sports
Individual students who receive All-State honors will be recognized.
Students participating in individual sports who qualify for UIL State competition and beyond as individual competitors will be recognized. If a student advanced as both an individual and is part of a team that qualified for the regional meet, he or she will be recognized at a board meeting.
Academic All-State: Cheerleaders who qualify for this award will be recognized.
Band, Choir, and Orchestra: Middle school students who qualify for All-Region performing groups will be recognized. This does not include UIL Sweepstakes Teams.

University Interscholastic League (UIL) High School Spirit: Students who receive all-state honors will be recognized.
University Interscholastic League (UIL) High School Theatre
Students who win one-act play Best Performer at state will be recognized.
Students who win one-act play Outstanding Technician at state will be recognized.
Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE):
High school students who qualify for state will be recognized.
Middle school students who achieve the Platinum Medal at Junior VASE will be recognized.
University Interscholastic League (UIL) High School Sports: Teams that finish in the top four for their region will be recognized.
Varsity teams that advance to either the UIL regional semifinal of their sport or UIL state semifinal round, depending on postseason format, will be recognized.
Varsity teams that are composed of individual competitors in the same event and advance as a team to the UIL regional meet of their sport, such as cross country and golf, will be recognized at the Trustee Awards of Excellence; teams that finish in the top four at region will instead be recognized at a board meeting. If any member of this team advances as an individual to the state meet, this recognition will also take place during the team recognition at a board meeting.
Varsity teams that are composed of individual student-athletes competing in separate events that score points qualify for a board meeting recognition when the total points places the team in the top four teams of the regional competition.
