Online enrollment for all students – both returning and new to Northwest ISD – for the 2018-19 school year will open Monday, April 16, at

Northwest ISD now uses the PowerSchool Registration online enrollment service, which provides families with a simple step-by-step process. PowerSchool Registration will gradually walk parents and guardians through the online enrollment process, with most information already entered for students returning to the district.

When online enrollment opens for returning students, families will be sent a “snap code” to register their children. This snap code will allow parents and guardians to begin updating their children’s information, the majority of which will be pre-filled based on the 2017-18 school year’s information. Parents and guardians should wait for this snap code to arrive to their email addresses; do not register a child without it or start a new enrollment from a different email address.

Parents and guardians should use an email address they readily use, as all future enrollment communication will be sent to this address, including coming school years. If a parent or guardian has multiple children in the district, he or she should use the same email address for all student registrations.

As with 2017-18, all students must have proof of residency and updated immunization records provided during registration.

To ensure the enrollment process is as easy as possible for families needing assistance, Northwest ISD will hold centralized summer registration events for its various feeder patterns in August at the district’s three comprehensive high schools. More information about these events will be provided soon.
