Verify transportation in HAC to use SafeStop app, be on bus routes

Reliant Transportation has been working diligently to ensure students are arriving safely to and from school. Because of the increase of student enrollment and approximately 2,000 students who did not register for transportation services prior to start of school, we will continue reworking routes for the first few weeks of school.

If your child is eligible for transportation, please make sure you have elected to use the school bus when enrolling online. You can check this status by logging into Home Access Center. Once logged in, you can view your child's transportation status. If you do not see a bus route listed, but your child is using transportation, this means you are not registered for transportation. Please contact your child's campus (the registrar or office manager) so that your intention to ride the bus reflects a "yes" in the system.

It is important to update this information so it reflects accurately in the SafeStop bus-tracking app. We expect to have all students who have changed their transportation status on bus routes reflected in our system and the SafeStop app by Monday, Sept. 10. The SafeStop app allows you to receive real-time tracking updates of your child's school bus at your fingertips. For information about the app and download links, click here.

Please remember the app will not show transportation for your child if it is not listed in HAC.
