The Northwest ISD Education Foundation has opened its student scholarship application, providing graduating seniors from the district with the opportunity to apply for dozens of scholarships.

The application is open to any full-time NISD senior who has been enrolled at a district high school since at least the first day of the 2019-20 school year. Impending graduates may use NEF scholarship funds toward continued education at an accredited institution, including college, university, military academy or trade school.

The 2020 online application, which will remain open through Wednesday, March 4, is available at the foundation’s website, www.nisdtx.org/nef. Applicants should review the foundation’s scholarship policy and information guide prior to starting the application. To date, NEF has awarded more than $500,000 in scholarships; this year, it will award more than $50,000 in scholarships.

Questions about the scholarship process should be directed to Rachel Holt, secretary to the education foundation, via email at rachel.holt@nisdtx.org or by phone at 817-215-0084.
