Kindergarten Schedule

Students will use the same Zoom link each day and every day. Students will only need to have that one link that they know to click on at the times indicated in their specific schedules.

8:00 - 8:30 Social Emotional Development Monday - Friday
Teacher Directed Lesson

8:30 - 9:25 English Language Arts & Social Studies Teacher Directed Lesson - 8:30-8:40
Students and teachers will be on Zoom and the teacher will provide a direct lesson for about 10 minutes to the entire class.
Teacher Support Time - 8:40-9:25
Students and teachers may still be on Zoom during this time. Keeping the students and teacher on Zoom at this time allows the teacher to check in with students, give them feedback, or help them if they are stuck. Students may be:
● Working with peer groups
● Working with their teacher in groups or individually
● Students may be working on their own

During this time, teachers may also tell students they can get off Zoom and students may:
● Watch a teacher video or lesson
● Work independently on skills or tasks.
9:25 - 10:20 PE, Art, & Music PE, Art, and Music will provide remote students with Choice Boards for asynchronous learning. These boards will be accessed through Seesaw and are provided by your home campus PE, Art, and Music Teachers.
10:20 - 10:35 Brain Break Brain Breaks might include free play, games, drawing, exercising, dancing, listening to music. Brain breaks are important so that students have plenty of time incorporating movement, and free time to explore a variety of things.
10:35 - 11:30 English Language Arts & Social Studies (continued) Teacher Directed Lesson - 10:35-11:05

11:30 - 12:15 Intervention or Enrichment Intervention and Enrichment Blocks will be used for a variety of purposes. Students may have direct support during this time such as:
● Additional small group time with a teacher
● Academic support (RTI)
● Dyslexia support
● English Learner support
● Special Education support
● Gifted and Talented support
● Pre-recorded read aloud

This time should also be used for enrichment or additional learning support that students can work on by themselves such as:
● Lexia
● Imagine Math
● Imagine Math Facts
● Other applications located in the student portal

12:45 - 1:45 Math Teacher Directed Lesson - 12:45-1:00
