Registration for the 2021-2022 school year will open April 19, 2021

We will open 2021/2022 enrollment online forms for both new and returning students on April 19, 2021. Please be on the lookout for more information.


Northwest ISD uses the PowerSchool Registration online enrollment service, which provides families with a simple step-by-step process.

Returning Students

Through PowerSchool, most information for returning students will already appear filled out based on existing records. Parents and guardians will need to verify or update existing information and provide proof of residency.

To register your returning student:
  • Log into the Home Access Center (HAC) with the credentials emailed to you the week of April 9.
  • Select the student you wish to register near the top right corner.
  • Select the Registration icon toward the top of the page and click the Update Enrollment tab.
  • Click on the word START to access your child's 2020-2021 enrollment form.
  • Follow the instructions on the Begin page.
  • Complete and submit your form.

If you need assistance and are unable to retrieve your login credentials using the "Having trouble signing in?" link on the sign in page, please contact your student's campus.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can enroll a student?
A student should be enrolled by a parent, guardian or a person with control under a court order. For more information, contact your child's campus.

Do I have to answer all the questions?
Questions marked REQUIRED must be completed.

What if I make a mistake?
If you would like to make a change, click on the underlined field or click "<Prev" to return to the previous page.

I don't know what a question is asking.
You may contact your campus directly or the NISD Enrollment Online Helpline at 817-698-1099 or email your questions to DistrictRegistrar@nisdtx.org.

I have more than one student in the district. Do I need to do this for each student?
Yes, you will need to provide information that is specific to each student. Once you have submitted the form for one student, please go back to the Home Access Center to switch to another student.

I've completed the form, now what?
When you have finished entering your information, click the Submit button. This will send the information to the student's school. If you cannot click on this button, please verify you have answered all REQUIRED questions.

What is Campus Document Review?
This is a meeting with the parent of a new or returning student and the campus staff, to verify student residency and finalize registration. It is required for all new-to-district families. Acceptable proof of residency may be found here.

I would like to volunteer at an NISD campus. How do I get started?
