Leadership participants will take a look inside an NISD classroom to see how students are preparing for their futures. This session will cover Curriculum, Technology, Data Collection, and Assessments.

January 12: Going Round and Round

Round-table discussions will be presented on various topics and areas of NISD operations from ARAMARK Food Services, Safety and Security, to School Transportation and the Community Ambassador program. 

February 16: The Numbers Game

Participants will have the opportunity to review and discuss the district’s operational plans, Texas school finance, legislative concerns, Chapter 41, and tax rates.

March 23: All Aboard! Take a tour around NISD

All aboard a big yellow limousine to tour the 234 square miles that comprise Northwest ISD. Participants will see where the growth is occurring, the potential for future growth, and the impact the growth has on facilities. This meeting lasts until about 11:30 a.m..

April 13: The People Make the Difference

Discover how NISD Human Resources manages the fast growth and changing needs of our dynamic and visionary district. Participants will go behind the scenes to discover how we recruit and retain the best and brightest employees.

May 9: Class of 2022 - You Did It!

Leadership participants will attend a graduation program during the Board of Trustees meeting at 6:30 p.m. honoring each person who completed the Leadership NISD program.
