October 11: Ways to Stay Connected (NISD Administration Building)

Learn more about NISD’s nationally recognized Communications Department and its multi-faceted internal and external communication initiatives. Participants will also learn about partnership opportunities and ways to volunteer in NISD. The Northwest ISD Education Foundation will share its mission, including information on the foundation’s many contributions and activities.

November 8: Creating Well-Rounded Students in NISD (NISD Administration Building)

Curriculum and Instruction staff will explain the opportunities students have for expanding their learning experiences.

December 6: The Numbers Game (NISD Administration Building)

Participants will have the opportunity to review and discuss the district’s operational plans, Texas school finance, legislative concerns, Chapter 41, and tax rates.

January 10: Going Round and Round (Leagacy Learning Center)

Round-table discussions will be presented on various topics and areas of NISD operations, including ARAMARK Food Services, Safety and Security, School Transportation, Technology, Early Childhood, Special Education and Athletics.

February 14: Preparing Future-Ready Students (Outdoor Learning Center)

Leadership participants will take a look inside an NISD classroom to see how students are preparing for their futures. This session will cover curriculum, technology, data collection, and assessments.

March 20: All Aboard! Take a tour around NISD (Former Hatfield Elementary/Temp. Admin. Building)

All aboard a big yellow limousine to tour the 234 square miles that comprise Northwest ISD!  Participants will see where growth is occurring, the potential for future growth, and the impact growth has on district facilities. This meeting lasts until about noon.

April 17: The People Make the Difference (Former Hatfield Elementary/Temp. Admin. Building)

Discover how NISD Human Resources manages the fast growth and changing needs of our dynamic and visionary district. Participants will go behind the scenes to discover how we recruit and retain the best and brightest employees.

May 6: Class of 2024 - You Did It! (Former Hatfield Elementary/Temp. Admin. Building)

Leadership participants will attend a graduation program during the Board of Trustees meeting at 6:30 p.m. honoring each person who completed the Leadership NISD program.
