Community

Two hands shake over different-colored backgrounds

Raising a child and education are a community effort, and Northwest ISD has many opportunities for community members looking to support students, teachers and schools.

Every volunteer must pass a background check to ensure students are interacting with trustworthy adults. Background checks are required annually, even for those who have volunteered before, to ensure our staff has up-to-date information on visitors in schools.

Please view the programs in this section for more information on how to become involved in Northwest ISD.
