Northwest ISD proudly recognized 64 seniors from the Class of 2026 who will earn their associate degree this spring—just weeks before walking the stage to receive their high school diploma. Students were honored during the March 9, 2026 Board of Trustees meeting, where they were recognized by the board and district leadership for this outstanding achievement.

Of the students recognized, 62 attend Steele Early College High School, with one student from Byron Nelson High School and the first student in Northwest High School history to earn an associate degree while still in high school.

Through Northwest ISD’s early college and dual credit opportunities, these students will collectively save more than $700,000 in college tuition and fees, giving them a significant head start on their college journeys.
