Research Proposal
Northwest ISD supports high-quality research that addresses well-formed, educationally important research questions. At the same time, the district has moral and legal obligations regarding the use of district resources, including data, facilities, employee time, and access to students.
Additionally, while we are eager to participate in research that will enhance the development of our students and teachers, it is not feasible or desirable for Northwest ISD to participate in every proposed research project. We require researchers to submit a Research Study Application for proposed projects. These projects must align with district guidelines and support the district's strategic framework goals.
Please note that priority for research projects is given to district staff. Research applications should be submitted at least 45 days in advance of the proposed beginning of research activities.
