Maintenance

The Northwest ISD maintenance team oversees all general physical operations within the district outside of the construction of new schools or facilities. As part of its duties, the maintenance department ensures district schools and facilities are functioning as intended, well maintained and clean. Areas overseen by the department include:

• Electrical/Lighting
• HVAC
• Plumbing/Irrigation
• Locks/Door Hardware/ID
• Carpentry
• Roofs/Ceilings
• Welding
• Kitchen Equipment
• Warehousing/Shipping/Receiving
• Mail/Campus Deliveries
• Preventative Maintenance
• Painting

The following maintenance areas are provided under contract to vendors overseen by the department:

• Landscaping
• Pest Control
• Trash Collection
