Help Me Grow
Help Me Grow is a support network of community resources for pregnant individuals and families with children ages 0 to 6. It links families to local services and resources that support optimal child development. The Help Me Grow call center serves to seamlessly connect children and families to community programs and services. This eliminates the need for families to search for resources on their own, streamlining what was once a complicated system.
Help Me Grow is here to help.
To support optimal child development, Help Me Grow North Texas links families to child development information and community programs that meet the needs of the family as a whole. During this time of uncertainty, Help Me Grow is here to also offer its support to families who may be impacted by COVID-19. Help Me Grow is committed to personally connecting each family with the community resources that best fit their presented needs, often with a warm hand-off.
How does it work?
When parents call Help Me Grow North Texas, they are connected to experienced child development and community support specialists – called Navigators – who listen to families, link them to services, and provide ongoing support to meet families’ needs.
Navigators offer child development information to the caller, find out what the families’ presenting needs are, and develop an action plan together. From there, the navigator ensures the family is connected to the resources they need post-phone-call, following up with the family and providing ongoing support. Families can also chat with a Help Me Grow Navigator for a free developmental screening for any child from birth to age six.
