Technology Infrastructure is committed to providing our students, teachers, administrators and staff the best possible technological learning and work environments.

As a rapidly growing district, the technology department is dedicated to expanding and upgrading our infrastructure to outpace the needs of an ever changing landscape. Creating a strategic, proactive blueprint for the future provides a pathway to success for all stakeholders in NISD. That plan accounts not only for being at the forefront of innovative classroom success, but also for building the safest, most efficient environments for all students, teachers, administrators and support staff. NISD seeks to be the pacesetter for all K-12 districts and provide all students access to innovative experiences that will enable them to change the world.

Technology infrastructure is responsible for installation, configuration, and maintenance of; district telephony, public address and emergency notification systems, access control, security cameras, centralized compute and storage, network switching and routing, network security, cybersecurity, email, account lifecycle management, SSO, internet access, and legal compliance with content filtering.
