A Secondary Science student will...

  • Think like a scientist by making connections across disciplines to build a framework of understanding through recurring themes and concepts.
  • Ask questions, identify problems, plan and safely conduct classroom, laboratory, and field investigations to answer questions, explain phenomena, or design solutions using appropriate tools and models.
  • Analyze and interpret data to derive meaning, identify features and patterns, and discover relationships or correlations in order to develop evidence-based arguments, evaluate designs and communicate findings, conclusions, and proposed solutions.
