Northwest ISD has promoted Andrea Driver to executive director of human resources, bringing more than 11 years of district leadership experience to a key role supporting the district’s growing workforce.

Mrs. Driver previously served as director of human resources, supporting secondary campuses, a position she held since 2024. As executive director, she will recommend and implement effective human resources programs, policies and practices while overseeing professional and auxiliary staffing, wage and salary administration, performance appraisals, and employee relations.

“I am honored to continue serving Northwest ISD in this new role and to have the opportunity to support the employees who make our district such a special place,” Mrs. Driver said. “I look forward to working alongside our campuses and departments to attract, support and retain exceptional staff as we continue to grow.”

In 2012, Mrs. Driver joined Northwest ISD as an educator at Wilson Middle School and a professional development facilitator. She later served as a campus instructional coach and assistant principal at Pike Middle School. Before joining Northwest ISD, she was a middle school teacher and coach in Washington.

Mrs. Driver earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Tarleton State University and a bachelor’s degree in education from Heritage University.
