Northwest ISD will host an invitation-only Teacher Interview Fair on April 2, to recruit high-quality pre-K–12 educators for the 2026–2027 school year.

To maintain a secure and organized event, the location will be shared only with selected candidates in a formal email invitation. Admission is limited to those who receive an invitation and RSVP. Applicants must be fully certified or on track to earn certification by June 1.

“Applicants should have strong supervisor references and a complete, error-free application,” said Melissa Hutson, director of elementary staffing. “They will also complete a teacher screener and should take their time and approach it seriously.”

The evening will begin with a 30-minute networking session, allowing candidates to meet campus administrators from across the district. Administrators may distribute interview cards for additional interview opportunities based on interest and availability.

Each candidate will receive a personalized schedule and name badge at check-in and participate in two 15-minute interviews. Although same-day offers will not be made, administrators will follow up to schedule formal interviews with selected candidates.

Interested applicants must create an account and submit an online application through the district’s employment page. Applications will be reviewed in the coming weeks, and invitations may be sent as early as next week to qualified early applicants.
