Homecoming festivities taking place in September, October

Northwest ISD’s three comprehensive high schools – Byron Nelson, Eaton and Northwest – will host homecoming games and festivities throughout September and October, with several family-friendly events available throughout the week of each game.

Eaton High School
Eaton High School will host its homecoming game on Friday, Sept. 26, when the Eagles take on L.D. Bell at Northwest ISD Stadium at 7 p.m. The EHS homecoming king and queen will be recognized before the game, but the crowning and announcement will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at a community pep rally.

The school will host a homecoming parade beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24. The parade will begin on the Eaton campus in the west (academy) parking lot and proceed through the Wellington neighborhood before returning to campus. A community pep rally will begin after the conclusion of the parade inside the main gym, and the homecoming king and queen will be crowned during the pep rally.

Byron Nelson High School will host its homecoming game on Friday, Oct. 3, when the Bobcats take on Timber Creek at Northwest ISD Stadium at 7 p.m. The BNHS homecoming king and queen will be crowned before the game. An exact time of the crowning is yet to be determined.

The school will host a homecoming parade beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1. The parade will begin and end on Bobcat Boulevard west of the BNHS campus and proceed through portions of the surrounding neighborhoods. The parade route can be viewed here. Due to construction at the BNHS football field, a pep rally will not be held after this year’s parade.

Northwest High School
Northwest High School will host its homecoming game on Friday, Oct. 10, when the Texans take on Central at Northwest ISD Stadium at 7 p.m. The NHS homecoming king and queen will be crowned at halftime of the game.

The school will host a homecoming parade beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 6. The parade will begin in the east parking lot at Northwest High School, travel down Texas Drive, and end at Northwest ISD Stadium. A community pep rally will follow the parade, and the pep rally will conclude with a fireworks show.
