Northwest ISD has named Jeremy Harris as the next principal of Adams Middle School, promoting a respected leader with a strong background in educational administration, technology, and career and technical education.
Mr. Harris currently serves as the district’s STEM coordinator, a role he has held for the past year. In this position, he has been instrumental in designing and supporting instruction within the STEM and Construction academies, as well as the architectural design and information technology programs. He has also led professional development for career and technical education teachers across the district and fostered key partnerships with industry professionals to enhance student learning experiences.
“I am honored to serve the students, staff and families of Adams Middle School,” Mr. Harris said. “I look forward to building on the school’s strong foundation and working together to create innovative, supportive and engaging learning experiences for all students.”
Notably, Mr. Harris is a graduate of Northwest High School and comes from a line of Northwest ISD staff members – both his mother and grandfather worked for the school district.
Prior to joining Northwest ISD, Mr. Harris spent six years in Keller ISD, where he held several leadership roles, including assistant principal, CTE coordinator, assistant director of technology and director of student information systems. His career in education began in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, where he served as both a teacher and assistant principal.
Mr. Harris currently is pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership at Tarleton State University. He holds a master’s degree in educational administration from Lamar University and a bachelor’s degree in theatre production and design from the University of Texas at Arlington.
