Kasey Williams named executive director of elementary support

Northwest ISD has promoted Kasey Williams to executive director of elementary support, placing a district leader with more than 12 years of school leadership experience in a key role supporting elementary principals and instruction across the district.

Mrs. Williams previously served as director of elementary education, a position she has held since 2023. In this role, she supported elementary administrators and educators aspiring to become administrators while helping implement district goals, reviewing student data to identify campus needs and providing support to strengthen instruction.

In her new role, Mrs. Williams will provide leadership and support for elementary instruction, working closely with principals to strengthen teaching, improve student performance and ensure district instructional priorities are implemented effectively. She will also supervise and evaluate elementary principals while supporting professional development and leadership opportunities for current and aspiring campus administrators.

“I am excited for the opportunity to continue supporting our elementary campuses in this new role,” said Mrs. Williams. “I look forward to working alongside our principals and staff to strengthen instruction, support our educators and ensure we are providing the best possible learning experiences for our students.”

In 2009, Mrs. Williams joined Northwest ISD as an elementary educator and transitioned into a district elementary math instructional coach role before becoming an assistant principal. She later served as a campus principal at Schluter Elementary.

Mrs. Williams earned a master’s degree in educational administration and a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies, both from the University of North Texas.
