Northwest ISD has named Kenni Dwyer as the next principal of Sendera Ranch Elementary, elevating the campus’ current interim principal and respected district leader.

Ms. Dwyer has led the campus in an interim role since November. She previously served as assistant principal at Sendera Ranch Elementary since 2020. During her time in that role, she helped drive academic growth, as reflected in state accountability ratings, while strengthening the campus’ focus on student outcomes.

“I am honored to continue serving the Sendera Ranch community and to build on the strong foundation already in place,” said Ms. Dwyer. “Our team is committed to ensuring every student is supported, challenged and inspired to succeed each day.”

Before entering campus administration, Ms. Dwyer served as an educator at Schluter Elementary, where she mentored and coached colleagues, collaborated with her team to set instructional goals and partnered with special education teachers to co-teach.

Ms. Dwyer is currently pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership from Abilene Christian University. She earned her master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of North Texas and her bachelor’s degree in advertising from Southern Methodist University.
