NISD Mobile Food Pantry changing location

Due to construction in the area, the NISD monthly Mobile Food Pantry is changing location and implementing a drive-thru service. Beginning on February 17, the monthly food pantry will move to the NISD Temporary Administration Building (2001 Texan Drive, Justin TX 76247). This is located next door to the previous location which is now a construction zone.

Attendees should enter Texan Drive from FM 156 (rather than TX 114) as traffic will not be allowed to turn left from Texan Drive into the food pantry location. More details can be found on this map (also pictured below).

With the change in location, the food pantry will also change to drive-thru service only. Attendees should remain in their vehicle at all times, and food pantry staff will assist in the loading process.

The Mobile Food Pantry is a partnership between Northwest ISD, Tarrant Area Food Bank and the Northwest ISD Education Foundation. It is open on the third Saturday of each month from 9 to 11 a.m. or until food runs out. There are three ways that families can qualify: categorical eligibility, income eligibility, or household crisis eligibility.

Debido a la construcción en el área, la Despensa Móvil de Alimentos mensual de NISD está cambiando de ubicación e implementando un servicio de auto-servicio.  A partir del 17 de febrero, la despensa de alimentos mensual se trasladará al Edificio Temporal de Administración de NISD (2051 Texan Drive, Justin TX 76247). Esto se encuentra al lado de la ubicación anterior que ahora es una zona de construcción.

Los asistentes deben entrar a Texan Drive desde FM 156 (en lugar de TX 114) ya que no se le permitirá al tráfico girar a la izquierda desde Texan Drive hacia la ubicación de la despensa de alimentos. Más detalles se pueden encontrar en este mapa.

Con el cambio de ubicación, la despensa de alimentos también cambiará a servicio solo de auto-servicio. Los participantes deben permanecer en su vehículo en todo momento, y el personal de la despensa de alimentos ayudará en el proceso de carga.

La Despensa Móvil de Alimentos es una asociación entre Northwest ISD, Tarrant Area Food Bank y la Fundación Educativa de Northwest ISD. Está abierta el tercer sábado de cada mes de 9  a 11 a.m. o hasta que se agoten los alimentos. Hay tres formas en que las familias pueden calificar: elegibilidad categórica, elegibilidad por ingresos o elegibilidad por crisis doméstica.
