NISD schools gather 3,300 holiday cards for U.S. troops

This year, students from Carter Elementary, Haslet Elementary, J.C. Thompson Elementary, Sendera Ranch Elementary and Truett Wilson Middle School crafted and collected 3,300 holiday cards for New Country 96.3's 10,000 for the Troops!

Leadership club students from Carter and Haslet dropped off the cards at the American Airlines Center where they had the opportunity to meet Mark "Hawkeye" Louis and Michelle Rodriguez from Hawkeye in the Morning and participate in a live broadcast! Click here to listen to the sound clip, and skip to the 3:22 mark to hear our students!
