NISD sending 17 wrestlers to UIL State Championships
A total of 17 Northwest ISD student-athletes will represent the district in Katy at the UIL Wrestling State Championships. Wrestlers from Byron Nelson, Eaton and Northwest high schools have all qualified for the state tournament, including four who won Regional Championships last weekend.
Competition at the state tournament begins on Friday, February 16 and concludes on Saturday, February 17. More information on the state tournament, including brackets for each weight class at both the 5A and 6A level, can be found on the UIL website.
