NISD winter theatre productions coming in December

The Northwest ISD community will have lots of opportunities in the coming weeks to enjoy theatre productions across the district's three comprehensive high schools prepare to showcase their hard work. Northwest High School presents “Matilda The Musical”

Revel in the anarchy of childhood, the power of imagination and the inspiring story of a girl who dreams of a better life. Packed with high-energy dance numbers and catchy songs, Matilda is a joyous girl power romp. With book by Dennis Kelly, original songs by Tim Minchin and inspired by the genius of Roald Dahl, the Tony Award-winning Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical will thrill children and adults alike with the story of the special little girl with an extraordinary imagination.

Byron Nelson presents “A Charlie Brown Christmas”

Eaton High School presents “Elf The Musical Jr.”

Based on the beloved holiday film, this hilarious fish-out-of-water comedy follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to find his true identity. Join Buddy as he embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list and that his half-brother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. A modern-day holiday classic, Elf The Musical Jr. is sure to make every one in your family discover his or her "inner elf".
